Acting on behalf of Trefoil Properties Ltd, Kavanaghs Commercial is pleased to announce the letting of 16 High Street, Melksham to Warrens Bakery, the oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, established in 1860, on a 10 year lease.

16 High Street, Melksham, is the first Warrens Bakery in Wiltshire, but they are looking to open several more shops in the area in the near future including Trowbridge, Devizes and Marlborough.

Jo Sutton, Commercial Negotiator at Kavanaghs commented “we are delighted to have let 16 High Street to Warrens. It’s a great location in the town, right on the junction with Church Street and within close proximity to other major retailers such as Boots, Iceland and Haine and Smith opticians. We are currently assisting Warrens with identifying additional suitable retail units within the area. Despite the uncertainty regarding Brexit, lettings of shop units are still happening. This transaction only took 4 months to go through from the date of instruction, to negotiating and completing the lease, which hopefully shows a strengthening of the Wiltshire retail market”.
